Founder's Journey
With over two decades of experience in early childhood education and community leadership, I bring a unique perspective to counselling. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to supporting women, children and families, developing a deep understanding of the complexities of life, relationships and personal wellbeing. My approach is grounded in empathy, respect and evidence-based practice, providing a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and empowered to create meaningful and lasting change.
At Willow & Stone Counselling, I combine compassionate, evidence-based support with the convenience of secure online counselling. I believe every woman deserves a safe, welcoming space where her story is heard without judgement, her experiences are valued, and her strengths are recognised. Together, we work at your pace to navigate life's challenges, build resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.
Approach
A Counselling Approach Centred on You

I believe every person has a unique story, shaped by their experiences, relationships, responsibilities and the challenges they have faced throughout life. My role is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood and empowered to explore those experiences with confidence.
With a background spanning counselling, education, leadership and over two decades of supporting women, children and families, I understand that life's challenges rarely exist in isolation. They are often connected to our relationships, work, family, health, life transitions and the expectations we place on ourselves.
Â
Using evidence-informed approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and mindfulness, I tailor each session to your individual needs. Together, we'll build practical strategies, strengthen emotional resilience and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
Â
I believe counselling is not about changing who you are—it's about understanding yourself more deeply, recognising your strengths and developing the confidence and skills to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, balance and wellbeing.
